At the age of 17, Jonas (the father of the team) came to America for an American dream from Ecuador. This is an American dream. He arrived at LaGuardia with cash hidden in his socks. He was a man of his word and integrity. He was dedicated, honest, and determined. He started by working as a dishwasher and doing other laborious jobs. He wanted to realize his American dream. One day, he met his family at a jewelry store and found what he truly loved. He enjoyed communicating with his clients and other people in line at the store. Jonas named the first jewelry store after Kathe, his highly anticipated and favorable daughter, in 1993. Kathe joined his father's jewelry business and went to FIT in New York to study jewelry design. She later enrolled at the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) to become a well-known and successful world gemologist. Kathe Rueda is one of the leading gemologists and fits perfectly in New York and all other parts of the world (Rueda, 1993).
This company is a family business, and Jonas Jr. and Jason are in charge of sales and purchasing as well as repair services (Rueda, 1993). Kathe's Jewelry has customers from all over the United States who can't get enough of Jonas Rueda's family's and friends' smiles and warm attitude.
