IDC was founded by Keith Leclerc, and he has done much more than that. He's experienced it all, ranging from diamond mining in South America to selecting thousands of loose gemstones by hand for his ten showrooms. Keith was an outsider to the diamond industry. He left everything behind in Massachusetts, to follow the sun and white sandy beaches of Clearwater, Florida. He married his first wife, Peggy, and she became his beloved. However, their marriage was short-lived, and they soon parted ways. His sales career began shortly after his marriage to Peggy. Keith worked for many companies and learned their management strategies. Keith first worked for a BMW dealership. His entrepreneurial instincts kicked in as he worked for BMW, and he desired a more engaging job. Audi soon captured his attention, and he began working for them. Audi's management policies made him desire a better job after a year. Diamond and gold buying is now his primary focus. Since Keith was an outsider to the diamond industry, he learned so much. Keith endured the problems of an unknowledgeable buyer until he became one of them, the few and far between, the nation's respected buyers of diamonds.
